Community and Commercial Installations

We have had the pleasure of creating a number of installations both commercial and community based. They are constructed with different combinations of tiles, rocks, marbles, mirror and glass. We welcome the opportunity to create a unique installation for you. Please feel free to contact us with your ideas or questions.

Mural at 1871 Fort Street

This Mural was painted as a Thank You to health care and front line workers for their effort and hard work during the COVID pandemic. The bull kelp serve as banners saying thank you in a number of languages. The colourful fish represent the diverse and multicultural people that live and work in this community.

Habitat for Humanity Victoria

We are very proud to have taken part in this fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity Victoria. We were asked to decorate a door to be auctioned off to raise funds for the next Habitat project that would benefit a deserving family.   Our inspiration for this project comes from nature. No matter what hurdles people and the world may be facing, spring always arrives, no matter what. Nature shows us there is always renewal. Every season of change brings new possibilities and a chance to grow again. This Cafe Au Lait dahlia was grown by a family member and photographed by us. We feel it perfectly embodies the beauty and brightness of a positive future, and chose this colour palette to suggest lightness and harmony. Our title is in memory of Dean’s uncle who always would exclaim every spring that the plants and trees were blossoming forth. Our hope is that the proceeds from this fundraiser will allow a local family to envision a brighter future that will be unfolding for them.

Capital Park Dental

This mosaic was the result of a commission by the newly opened Capital Park Dental office in James Bay, Victoria. They wanted an art piece with a theme of nature and flow that matched their decor. It was a pleasure working with Dr Stephane Picard to achieve this. The mosaic consists of stained glass on Wedi board, framed with red oak and measures 5’x 3′
